Our sister to the south, the Palmetto State, experienced some devastating events over

the past week. A state of emergency has been declared for South Carolina, as this is one of

the worst floods in the state’s history. The scary thing is, just as South Carolina is attempting to

recover, additional rainfall is expected to hit this upcoming weekend. While there has

been overwhelming support, they continue to need our help.

Our very own, Kathryn Kirby, a USC grad, is headed down to Columbia this

weekend to offer aid. She, her room-mate & their families helped to fill a U-Haul

sized truck & will be taking those items to help those in need.
