Just a hop, skip and a jump from Uptown, the city of Belmont is a picturesque blend of
old-fashion charm and new style. This suburban area is undergoing some revitalization
and is comprised of historic properties, newer constructed homes, and wonderful shops.
Downtown Belmont was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996 and features
some wonderful boutiques, restaurants, a general store and really that main street idealistic picture
we all imagine. The gorgeous blooms of the Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens, add to the allure of
this lovely area. Adventure seekers will enjoy the quick 5 minute drive to the ever popular,
U.S. National Whitewater Center. With its close proximity to Charlotte, you can take advantage
of big city amenities, yet enjoying the comfortable feel of small city grace.
