I’m unique in that I was born in Charlotte. I returned after college and do not have any desire to ever live anywhere else!
I tend to be passionate about everything that I do. My first passion was twenty years with ten years each at two law firms and my second has been as a Realtor. Cottingham Chalk has been my professional home from their first day in 1983. It’s been wonderful to belong to the Cottingham Chalk family and their environment of integrity and the golden rule. I do not see real estate as sales but instead service.
Finding a new home is an adventure and it’s natural for me to go the extra mile for my clients and to love every minute of the experience. I just closed the 5th transaction for long time clients. It is said that the stress of relocating is equivalent to death or divorce. Professionally I try to ease my clients’ transition.
First United Methodist Church has been my church home since 1962. I served on their five star Child Development Center board for many years.
My personal passions are my husband (my childhood sweetheart) and our daughter and her family.
We built in Providence Plantation in 1972. I’ve served on the HOA since 1983, was president one year and am currently the historian. I worked our voting precinct for many years, and currently belong to the garden club, book club, bunco and dinner club. It was natural to focus much of my real estate career on listing and selling in my neighborhood.
My hobbies are water aerobics, entertaining, bridge, gardening, reading, sewing, travel and painting.
A real estate profession is 24/7 and I’m blessed to be passionate about real estate and life.
