I consider myself fortunate to help buyers and sellers navigate all of the various aspects of a real estate transaction. My favorite experience is at the closing table when clients are excited about their new purchase or sale of their home and knowing that I helped make the transaction as smooth and stress free as possible.

I love working with Cottingham Chalk because we treat our clients and each other like family and that carries over to the relationships and service we provide.
There is so much to love about Charlotte – the thriving economy, beautiful neighborhoods, lush landscapes, access to beaches and mountains, lakes, etc. Showing this to clients and sharing in their excitement is one of the greatest joys of our job.
My favorite vacation spots would either be a weekend trip to Charleston or quick flight to Anguilla, mainly because of the exceptional dining options at both!
My favorite pastimes are cooking, music, and soccer. I’m passionate about all of these and couldn’t imagine my life without any of them. Ask me about my favorite soccer team. I’m also a Hornets season ticket holder and fan.
I was raised on the best BBQ in North Carolina
I was born in Charlotte and moved back after graduating with a double major in Finance and Accounting from North Carolina State University. In 1998 I was drawn to Charlotte to begin work in investment banking with Bank of America. I spent 8 years working in the commercial mortgage-backed (MBS) and asset-backed securities (ABS) area of the bank. In 2006 I made the transition to residential real estate brokerage and have been helping buyers and sellers of some of Charlotte’s finest homes.
I am grateful for the opportunity to assist home buyers and sellers with making one of their largest purchases. For this reason, I make sure I give back to my profession and community.
I have been selected and voted by my peers to serve on the Charlotte Realtor Association Board of Directors and the NC Realtors Association Board of Directors. I have served on numerous committees including the chair of the Young Professional Networking committee, the Realtor Grievance committee, and serve on the Government Affairs committee. I have been a yearly major investor of our Realtor PAC that advocates for home owners rights, which is an important way to help further serve my clients. I also travel to Raleigh every year to meet with our state legislators to discuss issues that relate to property owners’ advocacy.
I have served as a volunteer delivering meals monthly for Friendship Trays since 2008, as a coach for Let Me Run, an F3 advocate and volunteer, volunteer at Trinity Episcopal School, and attend Myers Park Methodist Church.
Charlotte’s vibrant community and economic atmosphere create a wonderful place to grow and establish roots. Its convenient proximity to wonderful lakes, beaches, and beautiful mountains provide a wide range of options for recreational activities. Professional sports teams, rich cultural amenities, and community leadership also continues to land Charlotte as a destination for businesses and people of all ages. I’m proud to call Charlotte home.
Follow the long drive up to the top of the gentle hill and you will discover a French Baroque estate, hidden on three private wooded acres in SouthPark's oldest neighborhood. Implementing timeless elements of design, Frank Smith created a house that is as comfortable as it is stunning. With the help of Joyner~Benfield and the late John Byrd, the owners preserved the natural landscape surrounding the house's more formal gardens. The symmetry of the house is reflected in its balanced placement of the pool, its patio and terraces. Elegant gas lanterns, decorative wall fountains, arched French doors, natural stones, romantic covered porches- everything is just enough and not too much. This special residence looks like it has been here for a long time, a rare find and a special opportunity.
