Being a fourth generation Charlottean, I have seen cow pastures turn into SouthPark, rural family farms into Lake Norman, and “The River” into Lake Wylie. I have watched with pride as my little hometown with two banks and four movie theatres has grown into the thriving cultural, economic, and philanthropic Big City it is today.

I completed my high school education here then went on, although not far, to UNC-Greensboro. I love the world of academia!
I enjoy my time spent volunteering at Second Harvest Food Bank, along with the little clusters of people either living or working out on the Spratt Street campus. I also enjoy my passion for Flora by serving on the Flower Ministry at Myers Park Presbyterian Church.
I have four perfect grandchildren of whom I have several thousand pictures and videos. If you’re lucky I will bring the pictures!
I joined Cottingham Chalk in 1987. I was nervous going into my first sales meeting and was mighty relieved to be grabbed by the arm of a feisty young agent and together we smiled our way into the conference room. Along with my little town, I have watched the way Cottingham Chalk has adhered to the basic Hippocratic Oath of First Do No Harm along with the basics of respect and fairness for each other and our clients. This philosophy directed us as we grew and grew, smarter and smarter for 35 years! I know what is now our Charlotte Metropolitan Area and surrounding areas like the back of my hand and it would be my pleasure to help yo find your perfect home; or sell what WAS your perfect home as you move on to what now suits you needs.
